COLEMAN, Wilson Alexander "Poggie," 70, of Powhatan, Va., departed this life October 9, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Johnson and Woodrow Coleman; son, Dewayne Wright; and sister, Maggie Artis. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Jean E. Coleman; four daughters, Schontel Abdulrazaaq (Ahmed), Andrea Coleman, Sheila Zimmerman and Natasha W. Coleman; three sons, Alvin Coleman (Lorraine), Stoney Tanner (Mary) and Wayne Hicks; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Banks; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service 12 noon Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the March Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Bryan J. Stevens officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery, 2591 Ridge Rd., Powhatan, Va.
