Winifred DOWNING

DOWNING, Mrs. Winifred, of Henrico, departed this life October 18, 2009. She is survived by one brother, Barry Patterson of Massachusetts; three sisters, Bernice Rumble of Massachusetts, Edna Whitfield of New Jersey and Eleanor Anderson of Bronx, N.Y.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th Street. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6100 Cornerstone Blvd. Dr. Stan Bennett, pastor, officiating. Burial Edwards Family Cemetery, Kents Store, Va. The remains will rest at the church one hour prior to service.
