I never met you but I was there in the hospital with my infant son when your parents found out that you didn't make it. I heard the deep pain your family felt that day. My heart ached for them. I prayed for your soul to be at peace that day and still do. Ten years later I still remember you and your family and keep you both in my prayers.

TJ...my heart weeps for you--you were so young and so full of life. I remember you from a young boy--my son's Chuck & Jerry's friend and NJB Basketball teammate all the way through high school. You will always be a part of our lives as Vallejo was home to us and we all grew as family (the sports knit us together). You always had that special glow--you were kind and respectful towards grown ups. And I loved the way you would rebound that ball! I am going to miss you dearly, I said a prayer for you and your family the moment I heard. I am still in shock.

To Coach Banks (as the boys used to call you), Karen, Angel, and Tyler: our deepest sympathy go out to you. Words just do not even seem enough at this very deep sad time to let you know that we care. Please know that you are in our prayers and we will continue to lift you up.

May God be with you and keep you close in his care. The Jackson Family- Charles, Pamm, Lil Chuck, Jerry, and DeAndre. (Vallejo Family/Friends-Elk Grove, CA)

Although you are not alive in the flesh, you are alive in the hearts and souls of all of your loved ones. I know you shall be looking down on them all from heaven.
Dear Karen,
I know these words may not comfort you now, but the Lord has a plan for us all, Live the rest of your life like TJ would have wanted you to, Please stay strong, Stay close to the Lord, and take comfort in knowing that your son shall ALWAYS be with you, and one day, when it is your time to go home, you will once again be with your son.

You were truly an angel,
I will always remember our Senior year Economics class, you really made the class worth remembrance. You and your family are in my prayers. I know we will meet again.

I remember your smiling face back when all of you were playing NJB...like you were seriously on your way to the pros! It was as if you, along with some of the others, were never gonna stop growing. You will be so missed by your family, your former teammates, and your friends. Everyone will go on, but they will do so with such a huge empty place where you once were! I know that Justin and Angelina enjoyed your friendship and both will miss you dearly! I wish there was something I could say or do to ease this agony from your family but I know in my heart that this is not possible! They all loved you fiercely...and they always will!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family, and parents of Thaddeus Jr.
He was a fine young man, who represented the Love of family, and what can be accomplished when parents, and family care to nurture a young person, to where they then become the epitome of goodness. Hopefully other young people who knew him will carry on his spirit, and keep him alive in their hearts.
To the parents, rejoice in the fact that you raised an exemplary young man, who through your guidance was a credit to the human race.
The love you gave to him will surround you the rest of your lives, as will, the spirit, and the beauty that was his life.

Thaddeus will truly be missed by our family. He was such a pleasant young man who enjoyed life. We, the Lewis Family, of Fresno, Ca. enjoyed 'Thad', during family outings; jet skiing, boating, dinners, and most recently football games. My sons, Christopher & Donavon, have always embraced Thad just as he embraced them. I will certainly miss the big hugs from a gentle giant, and the "Hey Auntie, how are you?" greetings that I received each and every time we had the pleasure of seeing Thaddeus. He was a no frills guy. He slept in any available spot, even given his stature,he ate and drank what we did without fuss, and yes he thought he was the domino's champ:-). Mr & Mrs. Banks, I had the pleasure of meeting you at a family gathering...it was a pleasure. Thank you for raising a fine son who added so much joy to our lives. However, I can not imagine what you are feeling right now, but I pray that you find comfort in the arms of God. "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:6.
Respectfully submitted, Karen LeDee-Lewis/ (Auntie)
