On Sept. 23rd, the Lord took to be with Him our beloved only son Robert Forrest Walters. He passed away at home at only nineteen years of age.
He is survived by his parents, John and Patricia Walters; his grandmother, Bille Hadley; aunts Diane Ponciano, Cynthia Medina, Susan Carey and uncle Steve Hadley with his wife Christie Hadley. Robert is also survived by his cousins Jack Vest, Tamara Ramos, Amber Medina, Cole, Sean and Liam Hadley, Aurora Ramos, Thomas and Britney Carey, and also his dearest friend, Mialani Quitugua.
Robert was a creative amateur photographer and musician. He had a compassionate nature and loved animals and small children. He enjoyed martial arts and had achieved his brown belt at Ray
Delgado's Karate Studio in Vallejo. He graduated from Vallejo High School in the class of 2009 with a letter in journalism, and he enjoyed learning and debating about politics and world events. He was attending classes at Napa Valley College with plans to major in organic chemistry and transfer to University of California, Berkeley.
We will never know to what achievements his passions and convictions would have led him. We can only have faith that he is in a better place and that he knew that his family loved him more than words can ever say.
Go with God my beloved Robert. I will hold you forever in my heart.

Robbie as we called him was my second son, he grew up with my son Nias. They were joined at the hip there for a minute. All the backyard summers we all spent swimming in a pool I hasd purchased from Walmart just for them. I will miss you so much Robbie.... Patty and John you are in my prayers and if you need anything... You both know my number.

I met him recently. Polite, thoughtful young man. Gone too soon.

I was Robert's Journalism teacher at Vallejo High. I am just devastated to hear this shocking news. I was very fond of Robert and enjoyed seeing him every day. His curiosity and good-humored wonder at the world was a constant source of joy to all of us on the newspaper. My heart breaks for his wonderful, loving parents.
