Isaac Schlabach Obituary
age 82, of Kimbolton, Ohio died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 surrounded by his family at the Community Hospice House, New Philadelphia, Ohio following complications from Pneumonia.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the North Salem Community Church, Kimbolton, Ohio with Pastor John Simms officiating. Burial will be at the North Salem Community Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the North Salem Community Church, Jesus Film Project, 71590 Old 21 Road, Kimbolton, OH 43749.
He was born March 6, 1931 in Holmes County, Ohio and was the son of Emanuel J. and Sarah I. (Miller) Schlabach. On Aug. 29, 1959 he married Malinda Yoder and she survives. Isaac became a believer and follower of Jesus in his youth and remained faithful till the end.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Malinda are two sons, Philip Schlabach of Aurora, Ill. and Stephen (Melissa) Schlabach of Yellowsprings, Ohio; four grandchildren, Timothy, Kimberly, Stephanie and Joshua; one brother, Dan (Fannie) Schlabach of Millersburg, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and their spouses, Jacob (Emma) Schlabach and Jonas (Sarah) Schlabach; and two sisters and their spouses, Mary (Abe) Miller and Fannie (Albert) Miller.

Sorry to hear of Isaac's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. I remember our being together in Fairlawn youth group. His father was my great uncle.
