Oh how we in the Mayhew family loved Shirley and John and the whole family. I have so many memories of growing up with Shirley being there for us. When I moved back from California and my mom had already passed, Shirley invited me to the Grange to go to the mother daughter banquet. She had a way of making me feel so special. I remember me,Shirley and Mom mushroom hunting together every year. Also, I remember how her little dog used to lay on my back when I would lay on her living room floor watching TV. May she rest in peace.
