DeVoe, Pauline R. COHOES Pauline R. DeVoe, 82, of Lancaster Street, Cohoes died at Eddy Village Green, Cohoes on Saturday, February 18, 2012 after an extended illness. She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Francis and Florentine Marion Gallerie. She was a typist for the New York State Department of Labor for over 35 years and a member of CSEA. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Church and the Ladies of St. Anne. Pauline enjoyed her family and going to the Saratoga Casino. Wife of the late Stanley K. DeVoe. Mother of Richard (Deborah) DeVoe of Cohoes, Kathleen (Steven) Nault of Troy; mother-in-law of Linda DeVoe of Cohoes and mother of the late Thomas DeVoe; grandmother of Kimberly DeVoe of Watervliet, Nicole (Paul) Festa of Clifton Park, Meghan Nault (James Dumas) of Rhode Island; and great-grandmother of Kaylee and Vincent Festa of Clifton Park; sister of Theresa Santandrea of Albany, Frank (Ann) Gallerie of Mechanicville and the late George Gallerie, Georgette Racicot and Edmund Gallerie; also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws and her two canine friends, Pepper and Tinkerbell. Funeral Wednesday 9:00 a.m. at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia St., Cohoes, with Rev. Lawrence McTavey officiating. Interment in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Building 2 at the Eddy Village Green for the care and compassion given to their mother during her short stay.
