Albert Fisk Obituary

Fisk, Albert CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. Albert Fisk, 92, of Clifton Park and former N.J. resident, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a brief illness. He was born in Jersey City on April 15, 1916. Albert raised his family in Hopat-cong, N.J., having built his own home and owning a trailer park and boat basin. He retired as a tool maker from the Western Electric Co. in 1978 when he and his wife moved to Lake Hurst, N.J. Albert camped in all but one state (Washington) and in Europe. He was a member of the NCT Camping Assn. He was a 33rd degree grand master mason with the Salaam Temple in Livingston, N.J. He was also a trustee and a 50-year member for the Salaam Temple Shriners of Livingston. He is the beloved husband of Margaret Fisk; devoted father of Joyce Fryer-O'Neill, Gary Fisk of Vt.; grandfather of Tom Fryer, Doug (Amy) Fryer, Susan (Bob) Hollner; great-grandfather of Virginia, Bobby Jr. and Chad Hollner, Faith Fryer, Olivia and Jacob Fryer; great-great-grand-father of Elizabeth Rose. A celebration of Albert's life will be held on Thursday, September 18 at 4:00 p.m. in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
