James C. Wormer

Wormer, James C. BOCA RATON, Fla. James Charles Wormer, 65, of Boca Raton, died suddenly Thursday, April 19, 2012 at his residence. Born in Albany, N.Y. on April 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles A. Wormer and Betty L. Balharrie Wormer. He was a graduate of Albany High School class of 1965. After high school he went on to receive a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and master's degree from Ohio University. Jim also resided in Salt Lake City and Washington D.C. He worked in marketing, advertising and sales for the majority of his career, working mostly in insurance and commercial real estate. Jim enjoyed golf, the beach, good times spent with family and friends, his visits to New York's Capital Region, Saratoga Race Track and Crooked Lake. He will always be remembered as having a fun-loving and friendly disposition, always ready with a good-humored story and laugh. Survivors include his longtime companion, Joan Maloney of St. Augustine, Fla.; dear cousins, Bruce Perry (Sally) of Averill Park, Richard Perry (Kristine) of Brunswick, Jacqueline Gould (Kevin) of Wynantskill and their families, Patricia Wormer of Vero Beach, Fla., as well as cousins and extended family in Australia and many friends. In addition to his parents Jim was predeceased by his beloved aunt Dolores W. Perry. Services will be in Albany, N.Y. at a later date. Cremation took place in Lake Worth, Fla.
