Jason was a great mentor to me while I worked at Durham School Services. Always there with a wise aspect of the job to pass on and always ready to lend an ear if you needed someone to vent to. Hard to believe it it has been eight years since your passing. Know you are missed, my friend. Rest in peace.

Jason was a great supporter of our annual Beth Emeth Park Playhouse event. Without his assistance, many of our seniors would not have been able to attend and enjoy the show. His warm heart and concern for everyone's comfort and safety made the event a pleasure!

To the Burrick family, Allison was so lucky to have such a warm and loving dad. I spent many hours with your family on Hollywood Ave. and loved being a part of your family. Mr. Burrick was always kind and welcoming and would always drive us wherever we needed to go. So many fond memories. Wishing you peace, Joanne Iselin Baldini

You will be truly missed, my friend. Always there with some quick wit, a kind word, and an understand nature. I especially remember your stories about you hot rodding through the streets of Albany as a young man. Your son said you taught him lessons without a lecture...I think you taught me a few things as well in that same manner.I always felt better about myself when you called me "kidd-o". Your Rabbi condensed it down to one word, mensch. I had to look it up and it means honorable..and you were and still are that. God speed my friend.

No word can express the emotions that all feel right now. Jason was an incredible man he loved his work and put so much dedication towards everything he touched in the school bus industry. But more so then a dedicated employee he was a husband and father that any family would desire. I have spent years looking forward to the stories that Jason would share of his wife children and grandchildren! He was so proud of all of you! Nothing made that man smile more than the love he felt for Elaine and the success of his kids and the accomplishments if his grandchildren! Jason was family to me! We shared some very special moments between our morning breaks, planning my wedding and having my son! I don't know where I would be today with out the guidance of Jason Burrick! He was not my coworker or even my friend. Jason was a grandfather to me! I hope we can all find peace in the love this man shared for everyone he encountered! God bless his family and his friends! The community has lost one incredible individual!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jason's family. I served alongside Jason on the SBDI/MI Advisory Committee. He was a true "safety guy" - who cared about his drivers and the importance of providing top-notch training so that all the kids were safe. Jason was a friendly colleague who will be missed by many. RIP, Jason...

To the Burrick Family,

Jason was a great friend, co-worker, mentor, and most of all he was a leader. Jason always had a smile on his face even when he was mad. But he always knew how to make you smile with his jokes when you were having a bad day. Jason will be missed dearly at durham, but we will always have stories to tell about our encounters with him and the knowledge he taught to alot of bus drivers. RIP JASON- GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!
