Jerold Smith Obituary

SMITH Jerold E. "Jerry" Smith, age 73, passed away on June 17, 2010. Jerry was born on September 6, 1936 in Leavenworth, Kansas, and moved to Saint Johns in 2006. Immediately following High School Jerry entered into the U.S. Air Force. After 26 years of military service Jerry retired as Sgt. Major from the Army Reserves. Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 53 years, Phyllis Smith; son, Mike (Shelly) Smith, of Missouri; daughters, Jessica (Ralph) Westphal of Saint Johns, FL, Crystal (J.R.) Smith of Kansas; sister, Joyce A. Smith of Kansas; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kansas.
