JOHN COONER Obituary

COONER John Kenneth Kenny Cooner, age 55, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2011. He was born on November 18,1955. He is preceded in death by his father, Jonnie Cooner, and mother, Geraldine Cooner. Kenny, known as one of the best plumbers in Jacksonville, worked for Ed Carlyon Plumbing for over 30 years. Kenny is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Patricia Lynn Cooner, one sister, Teresa Diane Barclay (George Barclay), and two brothers, Donald Mark Cooner, and James Edward Cooner. He has three children, Brandy Nichole Cooner, Kenneth Russel Cooner, and Ross Elliott Cooner, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. His greatest joys included NASCAR, the Pittsburg Steelers, Bar-B-Queuing, and being with his loyal cat Moe. Kenny will always be remembered by everyone that knew him as a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Funeral services will be provided by Fraser Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Cedar Creek Baptist Church located at 1372 Lanes Avenue South with Reverend John Montgomery presiding on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to his wife, Patricia Cooner. He will live forever in our hearts. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com

I am saddened by Kenny's passing. It has been many years since I saw him but often thought of him. His family is in my prayers.
