Lawrence Johnson Obituary

JOHNSON Mr. Lawrence 'LE' Johnson 90, passed away in Ocala, FL on January 18, 2011. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, FL on February 27, 2011. He was a retired Railroad Engineer. LE moved here in 1985 from Jacksonville, FL. He is predeceased by his loving wife Gwendolyn of 61 years and his brothers: Louis Chester Sr., Lemuel Chester and Buck Chester and two sisters: Hazel Connor and Evelyn Blackmon. He is survived by his daughter Leslie Thorne and Kenneth of Ocala, FL. A granddaughter Erin Abney and Robert. Two nephews Louis Chester Jr. and Michael Connor. A niece Annette Chester. He was a lifetime member of Riverside Masonic Lodge and the Jacksonville Shrine in Jacksonville, FL, the Brotherhood of Locomotive engineers. He was an avid golfer and gardener. A gathering of friends will take place at Roberts Funeral Homes Bruce Chapel West 6241 SW SR# 200 in Ocala (352) 854-2266 on Saturday January 22nd from 4-5PM with services to follow at 5PM.
