My deepest hearfelt sympathy is extended to the Crawford Family. I learned on today that Rev Crawford is now with the Lord. He truly made an impact on my life and that of my only son. He was called by the Lord and answered while here on earth. He shared the love of GOD.
After meeting him, I was forever changed. Each sermon I was blessed to hear improved me and gave GOD glory. You will be greatly missed.

My family and I would like to extend our prayers and sympathy to the Crawford family. Rev Robert and my family lived and grew up in the same neighborhood.. While we grew older, we still manage reminisce about the good times in the neighborhood in the old days when ever we saw each other. Those were good times, clean living and fun times being out until the street lights came on, playing softball in the field and skating all day….
I hope that the wonderful memories of his life will keep him present in your heart and help to ease your sorrow in the days to come..
Blessed be God… the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.” 2 Corinthians 1:3

To the family, my heart goes out to you all in the homegoing of our friend and brother. Just last week he stopped by the house, now he is resting in the arms of his maker. We don't know when our time will come, but this I know he was a friend from Colossian Baptist Church to the end. Mary Jane, we love you and the wife, our deepest cares are with you. Jesus will be to you what Rev. Crawford was, your husband. Continue to trust and lean on him.
sorrowfully submitted,

My heart is saddened at the passing of Robert Crawford, Jr. I remember him preaching the gospel, praying and raising hymns at Colossians Baptist Church under the pastorage of his father Rev. Robert Crawford, Sr. and his mother Elizabeth Crawford. Robert always had a call on his life, though sometimes he took an unconventional approach. Robert was nevertheless a true man of God. Rest on my friend, I'll see you again.

To Pam, Sis. Henderson and the entire Crawford family, may God continue to bless and strengthen each of you during this difficult time. Remember that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. We're here for you, and if there is anything at all that we can do, do not hesitate to call us. "Rev. Spanky" was truly our friend and will greatly be missed. He answered when the Master called and said ENTER, thy good and faithful servant, come on up a little bit higher. Your mansion is ready, and so is your crown. You will be missed by all that knew and loved you. Some may ask, what is a Friend?, and our reply would simply be "REV. SPANKY". Sleep on our friend and take your rest, we loved you so, but God loved you best. Humbly submitted,
