RONALD PATTEN Obituary

PATTEN Memorial services for Ronald Conwell Patten, 68, will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the chapel at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL with Rev. Richard Edwards officiating. Inurnment of Mr. Pattens remains will be at a later date in Waycross, GA. Ronald was born on April 19, 1943 in Waycross, GA. He was the son of the late Francis and Helen Patten. Ronald went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2011 in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by his family. Mr. Patten served his country proudly in the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War Era. He was the owner and operator of Pro-Kleen By Patten for many years. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Parrish Patten; daughter, Kristin Patten Holzman; two brothers, Frank Patten (Barbara), and Charles Patten (Shelia); four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends. The family will greet friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10AM-11AM. The family requests memorials in Ronalds name be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or First Coast Baptist Church Missions Program, 7587 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32244.
