Edward Eddie Hyslop

HYSLOP Edward Eddie Hyslop, 69, of Jacksonville, Florida, born 04/09/1946 in Eatontown, NJ went home to be with the Lord on 12/03/2015. He was well known for his years spent working in the restaurant industry and began his career working at Uncle Charlie' s. He then became the owner of several restaurants including: Volare's Italian Restaurant, 2 For 1 Pizza, Nika's Pizza, Riverview Caf and Nick's Subs and Wings. He was well loved by all of his customers, friends and family. Eddie met his bride to be, Margarita Patsy (Bradley) Hyslop of Belize when they became neighbors in Eatontown, NJ in 1970. He married his bride in November of 1971. They spent 44 years as husband and wife until his passing. He had 3 children, Ed LoCascio, Tanya (Vernon) Ferris, Christie (Zac) Smith and 7 grandchildren, Haleigh, Nicholas Nick, Brooke, Emerson, Cortneigh, Christopher and Maxim who brought them immense joy and love. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Pallbearers will be Ed LoCascio, Mark Bradley, Vernon Ferris, Zac Smith, John Buettgen, Mike Hansen, Gary Tomaino, Larry Rogers, Leonard Carter and Leonard Buddy Head. Eddie was known for his love and undying devotion to his family and friends, his quick wit, sarcasm, sense of humor, strong work ethic and heart of gold. A visitation will held at St Catherine's Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073, on Monday, December 7th at 10:00 am and a Funeral Mass immediately following at 11:00 am.
