Eva Hilty Obituary

HILTY Eva Mae Eva Mae Hilty, 97, of Bowling Green, formerly of Toledo, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Heritage Nursing Home, Bowling Green. She worked at District 2 of the Ohio Department of Transportation as a dispatcher retiring in 1962. A 1927 graduate of Washington Township High School Tontogany, Ohio, she was a member of Glandale Presbyterian Church and the Compass Club. She was born August 16, 1910 near Tontogany to Jess and Lydia (Burditt) Vollmar. Survivors include sister, Delcia Sterling of Bowling Green; nieces, Audrey Gilliland of Malinta, Jessie Kendall of Weston, Edith Miller of Toledo and Raelene Winters of Bowling Green. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cleo; brother, Kenneth Vollmar and by two husbands, Fred Zurcher and John Hilty. The funeral will be at noon Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Peinert Funeral Home, 18620 Washington Street, Tontogany, Ohio with burial at Tontogany Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the funeral. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. www.peinertfuneralhome.com
