Elexis McConkey Obituary

MCCONKEY Elexis Nichole Elexis Nichole McConkey of Toledo passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009, at the University of Michigan Hospital. Surrounded by her family. She was born on March 3, 2009, to Kelly DeBrosse and John McConkey. Elexis was preceded in death by her brother, Ethan and sister, Emma and great-grandparents, Joseph DeBrosse and Harold Morse. She leaves behind her parents; grandparents, Daniel and Debra DeBrosse, John Morse and Angela Morse; great-grandparents, Lorelei DeBrosse, James and Joan Walden, Robert and Sharon McConkey, Lynn Morse; aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Robert) Leszyk, Shannon (Matt) DeBrosse, Josh McConkey, Justin and Jacob Morse and many more aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Monday, April 6, 2009, at Living Hope Church, 4621 Glendale Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43614 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Elexis's Family give special thanks to the staff at the U of M hospital for their wonderful care and support. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Urbanski Funeral Home Toledo, OH (419) 244-4611.

Kelly, we went to school together and watching you I new one day you'd be a wonderful mother, and sure enough I was correct. I am so sorry for another loss you have to go through. I cant begin to imagine the pain you are feeling. Please remember you did not lose children, your children are now your angels watching over you and growing up all around you still to this day and soon again you will be reunited with them. Its not goodbye, its only a until we meet again. You were a great mom to all 3 kids and im sure if you have more you will be a great mom again, I'm so sorry for all that you are going through your whole family is in my prayers everynight.
