Floyd Martz Obituary
Mr. Martz served in the U.S. Navy as a pharmacist's mate during World War II and was the recipient of a Bronze Star. He started his railroad career with the Reading Railroad and retired after 36 years from SEPTA.
Husband of the late Elizabeth J. Martz, he is survived by two sons and their spouses, Floyd and Sandra Martz II, and Randall and Kathleen Martz; and two grandchildren, Alexander and Heather. He is also survived by devoted friends and caretakers, John and Susie Brown.
Mr. Martz was an avid animal lover of Jingles, Zeus, CC, Zina, Petunia, Sam, and Pandie Pie.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 22) at FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Ave. (River Road), Yardley, PA 19067, where friends may call from 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Road, Ewing, N.J.
Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222.
