MARY REETZ Obituary

Mary Marlys Reetz Mary was born March 17, 1958, the second child of Floyd and Donna. She left this world on June 3, 2015. Mary attended the Fife School District from K-12 and then WSU. She graduated from both with honors, earning a degree in Animal Science from WSU. Mary spent over half her life confined to a wheelchair due to a crushed brain stem resulting from a car accident. Her mind was still good, her body not. All she ever asked for was to be free from that chair. You are free at last, Mary. Mary is survived by her four brothers, Steve, Mark, Dan (Mary), and Andy, and her nephew and niece, Nathan and Natalie, among many others who loved her. A memorial service will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milton on Monday, June 15, at 11:00. Please give to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers. See ya later alligator.

My dear friend Mary. You are free from what bound you to that wheel chair. You can hear the birds sing and see all the life around you now. And, you can share your quick wit with others.

I know you have joy in your new life. The memories we made will be with me always. There is the day the bird of paradise flew over and left his happiness all over us both. There is the day you challenged me to drink a maple and bacon milkshake. Somehow you let me talk you into doing it with me...we hated it.

Thank you for accepting my friendship and allowing me to share in your life.
Go with God!

A special birthday with her Uncle Don and me.
