DENNIS MCBREEN Obituary

Dennis W. McBreen Dennis Warren McBreen (Denny) was born in Tacoma, WA on April 19, 1949, and passed away after a struggle with cancer in Springfield, OR on April 22, 2016, where he and his wife resided for 19 years. He attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA and graduated from Brown University in Providence, RI. His geological profession took him to Hawaii and multiple cities in the USA before his Oregon retirement in 2014. He was an avid geologist, sailor, and fisherman He is survived by his wife Betsy Shedd McBreen; his son Jacob McBreen and spouse Jenna; his daughter Shaunessy McBreen Wachtel, spouse Alex, and sons Dane and Cole; his mother Alice Jean (McBreen) Olson; and his sister Marsha McBreen Wasserman and spouse Thomas. He was preceded in death by his father Warren E. McBreen and his brother Gary W. McBreen. Family and friends are invited to an informal gathering to celebrate Denny's life at the Tacoma Yacht Club on Sunday, August 21, 2016, open house between 1 and 3 PM. We gather to honor Denny and reminisce a life well-lived.

I never had the honor to have met you, yet I feel as though I know you. You have no idea how much you have affected my life.
Looking forward to the day we finally meet. It is comforting knowing that you are now without the pain you endured.
