BRISTOL, Tenn. – Louise White, age 85, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 8, 1920, in Smyth County, Va., a daughter of the late Roy and Mattie Wheeler Johnson. She was employed by Jack Trayer for more that 57 years and had managed the Jack Trayers Restaurant on Moore St., B & B Food Shop on Mary Street, and Trayer on Euclid Avenue. She attended Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Faye White; sisters, Orvis Newman and Marlene Crigger; brother, Marvin Johnson; special niece, Sharon Cortner; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, with Rev. Stephen Playl officiating.
The burial will be private at Eastern Heights Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Hutson, Chip Burroughs, Simeon Pickard, Maynard Newman, Ed Cortner and Richard Springer.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service.
