GORDON TOTTEN Obituary
Einan's Funeral Home
Gordon Franklin Totten went home to meet his Heavenly Father on June 15, 2010, at his home in Richland, WA.
He was born on a train in Mingo County, West Virginia, and raised in Radford, Virginia, until he joined the Marine Corps straight out of high school. He was honorably discharged after 6 years of service. He later joined the Army and honorably served for 20 years. He lived and worked in Idaho for six years before moving to the Tri-Cities in 1980. He spent the last 25 years working for ConAgra Foods.
His favorite pastime was spending time with his kids and grandkids in the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing.
He was born to Charles and Betty Totten and was the third of eight children.
He is survived by his two brothers and four sisters, his children and grandchildren. Sean (Sara) Totten, their daughters, Audra and Annabelle, of Pasco, Washington; Charles Totten and his son, Cyrus, of Richland, Washington; Sarah (Mark) Malone of Portland, Oregon; and Joseph Totten of Athena, Oregon. He was also survived by his long time companion, Gail Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty, and his sister, Theresa Totten. He leaves behind countless memories, good stories, family and friends that will always love him.
A memorial service will be held at Richland Baptist Church, 1632 George Washington Way in Richland, on June 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. A Military Honor service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 915 Bypass Highway in Richland.
