DAVID THOMAS Obituary
Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home
Dave Thomas, 68, of Kennewick, passed away May 31, 2011, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He was born September 20, 1942, to Janet and Frank Thomas in Madison, Maine.
He served in the United States Army as a Specialist Fourth Class. He eventually retired from the City of Kennewick in 1993 as an Irrigation Specialist.
Dave is survived by his wife Rita J. Thomas; wonderful brother to four Thomas sisters Sandra, Jean, Liz, Judy and their respective families; one brother John Thomas; two children Jeff Northrup and Kelly Northrup; three grandchildren Neil, Bradley and Katlynn and his loving companion, Heidi, his faithful dog.
Viewing will be Friday, June 3, 2011, 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011, 1:00 p.m., at Cathedral of Joy, 1153 Gage Blvd, Richland, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 West Evergreen Avenue, Suite 303, Chicago, Illinois 60642.

Rita, We are so sorry for your loss. Dave was a wonderful and funny person. I personally will miss him, even though i did not get to spend a lot of time with him after his retirement, I really enjoyed the many, many days that we worked together in Columbia Park and the many Golf games that we had fun playing together, and cursed about our scores, after the game. I will miss Dave. Hope you are doing O.K. I think of you and Dave as very dear friends. It was a nice service.
