Senora Lucia, my deepest condolences to you and your beautiful family. Comadre Bertha, Kelly and JJ, I am so sorry for your loss. I have a lot of memories of your Dad, we've reminisced on our high school days and how firm he was. Looking back, it seemed like the end of the world to us and later as parents ourselves we appreciate the lessons learned. I admired his patience, while he quietly sat watching television not only with a houseful of his own children but each one brought along a friend or two. Pedro lived a rich life and along with Lucia raised a large loving family. I am grateful to have known such a wise man, he will be greatly missed. May your own wonderful memories bring you some comfort during this time of grief. Please know that each of you are in my heart and prayers. God Bless you.

Don Pedro!!! Donde se no he ido??? Ahora si le podemos escribir el corrido!! Hagame el favor de saludar a mi Compadre Peetie, alla donde andan, mas alla del sol!!
To the immidiate, and extended Cunes Families, please accept my sincerest sympathies, and my heartfelt condolences on Mr. Cunes' passing. He was a decent, well respected, fair, and hard working man. It was his time, and he has answered his marching orders now. He had a long, and very productive life, but all good things must come to an end. He's certainly in a better place now. He can have the company of my Compadre Peetie now.
He will be remembered for the man he was, and the legacy he left. He was a very good man, and God needs him now.
God Bless all of you.

Sra. Cunes y Familia,
I was very saddened to learn of your precious loss. "Pops", the patriarch will be missed by all. However, he leaves a beautiful legacy. He raised a wonderful family and instilled good morals to his offspring. Yole, I didn't expect your call, Chuey had given me all the information I asked for. But I was so touched to hear from you during your "running around" with Irma. You are all my special friends and treat me as such; always including me in your celebrations and achievements. I've shared such beautiful memories with all of you here and in LA. There's a void in all our lives now, but Pops is blessed to not have suffered and knows he left his family in God's capable hands. Although it might be covered, because the familia covers half of Tucson, please let me know if there's anything I can do. Familia, hang on to Pops humor, there's never a dull moment when we meet. I love you all!
