Helen Marie Knight 1/4/1925 - 3/27/2011 Helen Marie Knight departed this world Sunday morning and was united with the loves of her life: her husband, Elmer L. Knight and her Lord Jesus Christ. To my Mom, the sweetest and dearest, and most loved Mother in the world. I thank God for choosing you to be my Mother, and choosing me to be your child. God knows best huh ? I hope you and Dad had a wonderful Christmas with God and all our friends and families that have gone on before. I bet there was such beautiful music being sung by the angelic choirs, and if I know Dad he was singing right along with them. Well Mommy it has been 9 months today since God called you home. So many things have happened since you left, that I wish I could call you and sit and chat with you. But I know you must know all these things anyway as you are watching over us. I love you and Dad so very very much and always will and I miss you TERRIBLY. I will write to you again soon. Hugs to Mom and Dad.

Mom, it has been 4 months today since you left us. It was fitting that I had a wonderful dream about you before I woke up this morning - you were actually running! When I woke up I missed you so very much...the tears are still falling. I love you, Mom.

Mom it has been almost 4 months since you left us. I know you are happy to be with Dad again. I will think of something and say to myself " Oh I have to tell Mom this" or I will have a question to ask you and go to the phone and then I realize you won't be there to answer the phone. I still miss you so much but I love you more. I am so proud of you Mom with all your disabilities and you kept right on going and doing heavy work and never complaining. My Dearest Mother rest well now and give Dad a big hug for me and keep watch over us always. I will talk to you again. I love you.

Mom, It has been almost 4 months since I saw you last, but our last 'I love you's', the last kiss and the smile you had on your face when I turned one last time to see you is etched in my memory forever. I still reach for the phone to call you and it makes me sad when I realize you aren't there to answer, then my precious memories of you take over and I smile and thank God for you. I miss you. Love you always, Mom.

Mom, It has been so hard to sit down and write this to you. We miss you so much - every Sunday afternoon, every Thursday morning, all the other days of the week when we come by just to visit, all the special meals with you sitting at the head of the table, all the times Merritt barbecued the meat that you just loved to eat - there are so many memories of you being with us that not a day goes by without us wishing you were here. You would have loved the pork ribs on July 4th, the pulled pork and grilled steak on Memorial Day...we thought about you while both cooking and eating these. Love you, Mom, wish you were here.

Mom my heart is just breaking so bad right now. I am missing you like crazy. I find myself reaching to pick up the phone to call you and then realize that you are not here. Then the tears start and oh how they flow. I am so very happy for you to be finally back with Dad, and Grandma and Grandpa Fisher, Heather, and Uncle Warren, Uncle Harvey, and Grandma and Grandpa Knight. And I know how much you loved the fact that you would be going to Heaven and you told me many times that you had been ready for a long time. But it still hurts and breaks my heart that you are not here to see and talk too. But I am so very happy that you got your wish Mom. I could just see Dad saying " Here she comes here she comes oh boy oh boy ". You have fun up there Mom, we will all be ok and we one day will be up there with you. I love you Mommy with my every being.... and so happy you don't have any more pain. Please watch over us and know how much you are loved. I will love you forever Mom.

Your Daughter,

What joy to have served alongside Elmer and Helen in church for many years! May God send us more servants as selfless and devoted as they were.

We loved Helen and Elmer! They were bright spots in our lives! They always amazed us with their activity inspite of their physical afflictions. First they were our coffee buddies and then a part of our church family. Every Christmas they made us their famous cherry pies! Helen and Elmer---away from pain and loving their time with each other, Jesus and their friends! Pastor Dave and Karen Patterson

Helen Marie Knight
God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered, "Come, go with me."
With tear-filled eyes you've watched her suffer and fade away. Although you loved her deeply, you could not make her stay.
Death leaves a heartache, no one can heal. Love is a memory, no one can steal.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands put to rest. God broke you hearts to prove to you- He only takes the best.
Helen was a great lady. Elmer and Helen and my parents ira & Barbara piper was the best friends for life now the four can be toghter once agin. RIP the four of you we all love you
