Ray Bratton It was December 8, 2010 that we lost Ray Bratton a very loving husband, father and grandfather. Ray was born on November 1, 1939 in Dumas, AK to Amburs and Gladys Bratton. Ray is also survived by 17 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren on the way. Ray was full of love, laughs and endless charm. Wow... seeing My Papas picture as an obituary really brings it to reality. He was an amazing person and always gave love to his kids, grandkids, and his beautiful wife judy. I will never forget him singing to my grandma... "heeeey good lookin, what ya got cookin? how's about cookin something up for meeee" He was full of jokes and his smile is engraving. Looking through photos and thinking back to all of our times shared... I know he lived his life to the fullest and I will tell my future children all about him and what he meant to me. I Miss you Papa.. I know your watching over me.

December 11, 2010

I would like to express my condolences to the Bratton family. I am Lynn Schroyer. My family was friends with the Brattons long ago. My father and mother were Harold and Luann Schroyer my Grandfather was Ray Halbert. I remember Ambers and Gadys Bratton. I made many visits to their house in Avra Valley with my Grandfather Ray Halbert. My family and I once lived out by Judy's store and loved the Ham sandwichs. I would like to say I am sorry for your loss from the Schroyers and the Halberts to the Brattons all some of the first families in Marana.
