Doris J. Stahl

Doris J. Stahl passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Doris was born in 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to Alma and Arthur Tuegel. She married in 1957 and moved to Tucson in 1962 where she raised her family and enjoyed the wonderful weather. She worked as a bookkeeper at the University of Arizona and owned and ran a small business for many years. Doris loved playing bridge and was a member of many bridge groups. She is remembered as an avid University of Arizona Wildcat and Arizona Diamondbacks sports fan. She is survived by her brothers, Arthur (Dee) Tuegel and Robert (Aurelia) Tuegel; her children, Ronald (Bettye) Stahl, Kathleen (Bruce) Eichhorst and Sandra (Chris) Ahlstrom; grandchildren, Shawntae Ellison, Sarah (Nathaniel) Pettitt, Gregory Stahl, Kristina (Matthew) Smith, Bryan Eichhorst, Ashley, Zachary and Jacob Ahlstrom and great-granddaughters, Hannah, Allison and Camille Pettitt and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family members and friends. Services will be held at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Network for PKU and Allied Disorders - arizonapku.org or the American Cancer Society - www.cancer.org.
