Barbara Vann Obituary

VANN, Barbara Bernice, September 27, 1941 - October 18, 2010. Barbara passed away after a long struggle with cancer just 21 days after her 69th birthday. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Aubrey E. Vann, who also passed away after his own struggle with cancer on December 16, 2005. She is survived by her three children, two daughters, Beth and Zandra Vann of Delray Beach, Florida; and one son, Aubrey A. Vann and his wife, Emily (Tucson, AZ). She will be deeply missed by her two grandchildren, Jessica Keir and Samantha (Butterfly) Vann. Barbara goes not only to be with her husband Aubrey, but also to be with "best Scottie dog ever", Angus. She also leaves behind two, four legged family members, Murdoch and Niblet, who loved and comforted her much in her last days. A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church located at 7570 W. Thorneydale Rd., Tucson, 85741, phone # 520-744-2665. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Academy at the address listed above. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET.
