Jack Wolters Obituary

Jack Frank Wolters age 90, passed away on June 10, 2014. He was born in New York City on April 4, 1924. He served in the Navy in WW II. He was a dedicated volunteer for Habitat for Humanity working in the US and abroad for 30 years. He is survived by wife, Marlene Peterson; children, Honey Wolters, Gail Lyster (Tom), Rande Wolters; grandchildren, Kate Hutchinson (Dallas), Jack Bartelme (Maria), Reid Bartelme; great-grandchildren Max and Roland. He was preceded in death by parents Max and Ida Wolters, and sister Louise. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E 3rd St, Tucson, AZ 85716. Memorials to Fuller Center for Housing, 701 S Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Americus, GA 31719, or Habitat for Humanity.

I loved Jack. We met at Habitat International back in 1986. He was a very special man and will be missed.
