PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Joseph Leon Bartosiewicz, 89, died Oct. 25, 2008, at Hernando Pasco Hospice.
He was born in Mount Carmel, Pa., on April 22, 1919, to Joseph and Frances (Lascoska) Bartosiewicz.
Mr. Bartosiewicz lived in Manchester, N.H., most of his life.
He worked at Sikorsky Helicopter, Chance Vought Corsair Airplanes and later as an inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture at Foster Beef Co. of Manchester.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and traveling.
He was known as "Mr. Fix It" and always had a great sense of humor.
IN HIS LIFE: Members of his family include his beloved wife of 65 years, Claire (Dubois) Bartosiewicz of Manchester; a daughter, Carol Bartosiewicz of Manchester; two sons, Robert Bartosiewicz of Newmarket, N.H., and Gary Bartosiewicz and his wife Beth of Manchester; four grandchildren, Renee, Ryan, Jeffery and Elizabeth; two great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Riley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Road, Manchester.
Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
