Charles Pappageorge Obituary

MANCHESTER -- Charles T. Pappageorge, 91, died March 11, at Bedford Hills Health Care Center after a period of failing health.

He was born in Manchester the son of Thomas and Frosso (Apostols) Pappageorge and was a life-long resident of the Queen City.

Educated in the Manchester school system, he was a graduate of Central High School.

He served in World War II as a U.S. Army Air Corps drill sergeant.

Prior to his retirement he was employed at the former Waumbec Mills.

Mr. Pappageorge was a noted long distance runner for more than twenty years.

IN HIS LIFE: He is survived by two nieces, Louise M. August and her husband, Clifford, of Manchester and Andrea Pappageorge of Keene; a nephew, Thomas Pappageorge of Manchester; a grandniece, Michele Buzderewicz of Derry; grandnephews George Levesque of Holden, Mass., and Nathan Levesque of Keene; two great-great nieces, Autumn Buzderewicz and Marion Levesque.

He was predeceased by two sisters Merriem Lessard and Bessie Bickford, and a brother, Nicholas Pappageorge.

SERVICES: There are no services scheduled.
