I came to know Don when I was on the Milan Police force and Don was a dispatcher at Troop F. I can still hear him signing on for the night. Don also accompanied Ray Burton on many of Ray's visits to the Milan area. Don was "chatty" and always had a good story. He also came to our wedding. He was a good person and I was very sorry to hear of his passing.
