Mark E. Bourdeau
Oriskany Falls
Mark Edward Bourdeau, 50, of Cottage Street, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at St. Elizabeths Medical Center, after being stricken at his home. He was born in Hamilton on November 10, 1961, the son of Marvin and Mary Reilly Bourdeau. Mark was a graduate of Oriskany Falls High School in 1980. He enjoyed 28 years with his wife and soul mate, Cindy Hoff. Mark had been employed by the Madison County Sewer District as a Chief Plant Operator. He was a true all around outdoorsman who especially enjoyed camping and hunting. Mark had a devoted love for his children and especially enjoyed watching them excel at sports. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy; his parents, Marvin and Mary, of Oriskany Falls; his sons, Patrick Bourdeau and Bret Bourdeau, both of Oriskany Falls; his step-daughter, Jennifer Whipple, of Waterville; his sisters, Michele Bourdeau, of Hamilton, and Marianne (Robert) Witkowski, of LeRoy; a brother, Michael Bourdeau, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; two step-grandchildren; several uncles and aunts; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, at 5 PM at the Paul Funeral Home ofMadison. Spring interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Oriskany Falls. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 3592 South Street, from 3-5 PM, prior to the funeral service. As a request of the family, please omit floral donations.

Cindy, Pat & Brett,
Our hearts ache for you and we are SO sorry for your loss! It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but please know he was a special part of MANY lives!
