Janet L. Orendorff, 48, passed away at her home, on Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on July 5, 1964, the daughter of the late Gordon and Doris Ruble Orendorff. Janet attended Waterville Central School. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Janet also enjoyed gardening. She adored and loved animals, especially birds. She is survived by her soul mate of 25 years, Gary (Barney) Buell, of Deansboro; her children, Jessica Orendorff and her companion, John Lubey, of Oriskany Falls, Ashley Buell and her companion, Josh Simmons, of Deansboro and Trista (Dave) Reynolds, of Westmoreland; a sister, Louann (Kevin) Bellair, of Waterville; three brothers, Gary (Elizabeth) Orendorff, of Waterville, Carl Orendorff, of Waterville and Jack (Charleen) Orendorff, of Edmeston; her grandchildren, Connor Lubey, Alexis DePasquale, Kaylee DePasquale and Cora Reynolds; and a very special uncle, Pete (Barb) Orendorff, of Owego and another uncle, Daniel (Darlene) Orendorff, of Topeka, KS. Janet is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Lawrence Orendorff. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. from the Paul Funeral Home of Madison with the Rev. Edward Whitehead, Pastor, of the North Brookfield Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Stockwell Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There will be calling hours on Wednesday at the funeral home, 3592 South Street, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
