Julian Fields Obituary
Julian owned and operated Budget Auto in Newport News for a number of years. He never met a stranger, had a grand sense of humor, and was uncommonly good company. His greatest joy was helping others and spending time with family and friends.
Julian graduated from Western Carolina University and later worked as a regional manager for Pontiac Motor Division. He was a member and past president of the Rotary Club.
Julian is survived by Libba, his beloved wife of 31 years; his daughter, Whitney, of Angier, N.C.; his mother, Myrle L. Fields, of Raleigh, N.C.; and his sister, Paula F. Taylor, of Garner, N.C. He was predeceased in death by his father, Julian M. Fields.
Julian's life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on May 4 at Kingsmill's Mounts Bay Recreation Center in Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made is his memory to a charity of your choice.
