Will certainly miss the wonderful smiles and his beautiful sweaters. He has been in my prayers.

Condolences to Eric's family and friends. You were definitely a fixture in the Edmonton community for many years, a proud Albertan, and brought pride to the McCuaig name and his profession.

I was saddened to read of Mr McCuaig's passing in the Vancouver Sun today.
I have know Eric since September 1963, when I first commenced work with Credit Foncier.
Eric was our main legal consultant, and through our business association, we became good friends. We could always depend on a job well done by any legal work done by Eric.
He was always available - and as noted in the Obituary, a true gentleman.
Although our paths did not cross since Credit Foncier was bought out in 1986, I often wondered if he had moved out here to Vancouver, where I knew he had interests.
I would appreciate being advised if a memorial service is held here in Vancouver.

Dr. W. Rutherford

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Eric on Sunday, he will be sorely missed! In the tradition of the Rutherford family Eric was a model gentleman and a positive influence on all who knew him. Eric's life long contributions to Alberta, in particular the to legal system and health care are amazing achievements. Notably Eric served in the Canadian Navy during World War 2.

The congregation, members, session and minister of First Presbyterian Church wants to send our heartfelt condolences. Eric was a wonderful man, generous and kind, and faithful to the church. Personally I have very fond memories of Eric, of him in church and of visiting him. One time Eric, Harwood and I went to Rutherford House for tea and had a tour. God bless you all! Rev. Harry
