Jennie Golding Obituary
GOLDING _ Jennie Marie (nee Imrie), passed away July 1, 2007. She was born April 5, 1924, in Unity, Saskatchewan. Jennie is survived by her loving husband, Douglas, children Robert (Corinne), William (Janice), and Patricia (Kent), sister Nellie Reid, and grandchildren Timothy, Alison, and James. She was predeceased by her sisters Aletta Stephen, Ruby Myers, Dorothy Jolley, and brothers Robert, Lorne, and Wellington. Jennie married Douglas on December 8, 1956. Before marriage Jennie worked for Saskatchewan Telephones in many towns across that province. She enjoyed travel and will be remembered especially for her nurturing, loving nature. Special thanks to the staff at St. Jude's Anglican Home for their gentle care and support during the last several years. A Celebration of Jennie's life will be held at Oakridge United Church, 305 West 41st Avenue, on Wednesday, July 11 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Anglican Home, 810 West 27th Avenue, Vancouver, V5Z 2G7, or to a charity of your choice.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
