Bob passed away at home, surrounded by love and family, on October 31, 2017.

Bob felt he had lived a full life and was ready to go and be with his wife of 71 years, Mada.

Bob was born and raised in Visalia, he attended Visalia High School, which is where he and Mada met. They married when Bob was only 16 years old. This is when Bob began playing professional baseball, starting with the Visalia team. He began moving up to pacific coast league, then on to major league with the Chicago Cubs. Then due to injuries he had to leave baseball and move back to Visalia to raise his family. He had 3 children, Dennis Talbot, Jim Talbot and Debbie Maldonado. He had a daughter-in-law, Barbara Talbot and son-in-law, Michael Maldonado. He had 4 grandchildren, Darren Talbot, Kelly Pennington, Hayley Schrader and Maggie Talbot, 5 great-grandchildren; Morgan, Tyler, Travis, Remi, and a new great-grandson on the way. He had 1 great-grandson, Matix, who preceded him in death.

Bob was a wonderful father and grandfather and he loved being with his family. He also loved his friends with whom he would fish, hunt and play golf. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank Kaweah Delta Hospice for taking such good care of our Dad. Thank you to all the nurses, social worker, chaplin and aides. You are all amazing caring people and we couldn't have made it without you, and we know our dad was very grateful to have all of you.

Service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11:00AM at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Home, Visalia
