Dale Walker Obituary

Dale Arlen Walker, 77, went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 14th. Dale was born on November 13, 1933 in Whittier, CA. Dale set his eyes on the girl next door, Viola Bouma, and they were married on November 30, 1960. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Dale is also survived by his daughter, Connie Bangma and her spouse, Sam of Visalia. His son, Ken Walker and his spouse, Joanne of Hanford. Dale's 5 grandchildren were also a great joy of his life. Trevor and Tiffany Bangma of Visalia. Alyssa, Kaitlyn and Blake Walker of Hanford. His brother in law, Darrell Bouma as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Dale owned and operated his own business, "Walker Railroad Ties" in Chino, CA for over 25 years. He so enjoyed his family and friends, vacationing, taking pictures and living his retirement years at Sierra Village in Visalia. Visitation was held Monday, January 17th from 5-7 p.m. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave. A "Celebration of Life" will be Tuesday, January 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Sierra Village Auxiliary" in honor of Dale Walker. 1 Molenstraat, Visalia, CA 93277. Private Burial. Condolences may be e-mailed to [email protected]
