I can't believe it's been 9 years since you've been gone. I am so glad that my daughter knew you and that you showed her the love and care that you became known for sharing as a doctor. I witnessed you (ok.. heard you) doing assessments of patients in the ER at Hillcrest when I worked there with you. What I heard was the most detailed and caring assessment I have ever heard and it made me proud to say, "That's my Uncle Scott!"
I miss you and Dad and watching you both dance and continue to play tricks on each other, even as 50 year old men.
Your niece,
Kelli

Compassion and controversy constitute the essence of good medicine. Scott embraced the former and never shied from the latter. I am proud to be his colleague.
