GERTRUDE GOODWIN Obituary
GERTRUDE M. GOODWIN (Age 82)
Of Round Hill, VA, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim; and their five children James, Linda, Barbara, Kenneth, and Phyllis; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister. Trudy was a realtor for 35 years, active in the Dulles Association of Realtors. She helped found Park View Band Aides and founded and served at First Board Chairperson for Christmas in April Loudoun County. She also served as Grand Master for a Sterling Fest parade, was cited for community service, and was named a Women of the Year by Loudoun County. A funeral service will be held at Sterling United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 30th, 2017 at 2 p.m. She will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date, attended by family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rebuilding Together (Christmas in April), 999 N. Capitol Street NE, Suite 701, Washington, DC 20002 or online at https://rebuildingtogether.org
