marion & morris were 2 of the coolest people i knew, they were my aunt & uncle, my mother alice was marion's big sister...i will miss them greatly, their kids gary, marc & adam were my adopted brothers because i had no brothers myself, morris & marion were always great to me & my sister doris rose whether it be in intervale, nh, hampton, nh, georgetown or newton, ma...always interested in what WE were doing, "how is life treating you?" is what they would always ask us... truly 2 of a kind, 2 beautiful people inside & out...they loved my golden retrievers casey & sam and the 1st thing marion would say to me when we spoke was "how are the dogs?"....so very cool, so very nice, rip my beautiful aunt & uncle, morris and marion, thanks for the memories!.....your nephew chrissy

The Henkin family sends its condolences and love. We are all so sorry to hear about two of the most wonderful, caring and compassionate friends that our parents (Allen and Shirley) had. Both Morris and Marion were so special and brought so much love and life to everyone they touched. They will be missed. I'm sure Allen and Shirley have welcomed them with open hands and hearts and I know Marion, Julie and Shirley will be quite the threesome in the realms of heaven. Much love and our thoughts are with you. Sandy, Mitch, Russ and Gary Henkin

Morris rescued me from the bowels of despair in 1969 after the death of my younger brother. He took me into his Newton, MA, home and literally forced me to confront the grief. He was tough on me, but it was exactly what was needed. We remained friends over many, many years. Irascible but always compassionate. I will never forget him, and he will be sorely missed.
