Sheila Greene Obituary
GREENE SHEILA M. GREENE Sheila Marie Greene, age 30, native of Alexandria, VA. died on May 13, 2010 in Marshall, Texas due to head on collision. Also, in the car was Sheila''s 11 year old daughter Emily Greene-Coutee. She sustained life threatening injuries including severe head trauma. Emily was transferred to LSU in Shreveport, LA, where she is currently fighting for her life. Sheila was survived by Eric Coutee; daughter, Emily Greene-Coutee (11) and son, Michael Greene (5); parents, Debbie and Jimmy Presley, Larry and Susan Greene; siblings, Larry Greene Jr., Sharon Campana and Shirley Martinez. Sheila was loved by all, she was full of life and loved her children and family. Viewing for Sheila will be held on Sunday May 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St. Alexandria, VA. Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon at Cunningham Funeral Home on Monday, May 24, 2010 with the interment to follow at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA.

Though we didn't stay in touch, I remember some of the times we had. Once I heard the news, my jaw dropped, couldn't believe it. We went to high school together, hung out with friends together, being young and dumb. I actually think about you all the time, whenever I pass by your old house. Which is often.

You will be remembered fondly as a little ball of fire. You always made me laugh and you really took me under your wing when I first moved to VA , I will always appreciate that. My daughter and Emily were very close friends at Crockett when Emily moved here until she moved to Hallsville I.S.D. Sheila was a very friendly person, she was easy to talk to and always willing to listen. Mallory has been praying that Emily is going to get through all of this fine. Sheila was a wonderful friend of my daughter Sherri. I had the pleasure to get to know her and found out that she was a wonderful person. She was awesome,and loved those children. My daughter was the one who told me about the accident. She is friends with Emily. They went to Crockett together last year. She's so saddened by what happened. I did have the pleasure of meeting Sheila only once. We had a large group of people bowling a few months back and she came up to the bowling alley when she wasn't scheduled to work and made sure we were taken care of.
