Passed on January 18, 2018. The funeral for ADM Stansfield Turner, USN (Ret.) will be held on May 1, 2018 at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service, Admiral Turner will be interred with full military honors at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery. A reception will follow interment at the N* Star Room located inside the Naval Academy Football Stadium. Due to extremely limited parking at the Academy, all guests are requested to park at the Naval Academy Football Stadium, 511 Taylor Avenue, Blue Lot, Gate 5. Announce you are attending the Turner Funeral and you will be directed to the parking area where buses will commence shuttling guests at 10 a.m. to the Chapel. The last bus will leave the stadium at 10:40 a.m. Following the service, buses will be available to shuttle guests to the gravesite, and the reception. All are welcome to attend the reception in the N* Room.  If you require overnight accommodations, a block of rooms has been reserved at the hotels listed below.
