Harvey Hefley
April 19, 2018
back in Feb.1957, I met commander Turner on the USS Conquest, MSO 488 as his new Ensign Engineering Officer. For the next two years he showed me leadership & was there to answer my many questions as a new Navy Officer. HE was a great person and I never forgot him. I watched his advancement in his career in the service of his country for many years. I felt very bad for him when I heard of the airplane accident that took the life of his wife and child. I believe he has joined them in Heaven and is happy to be rejoining his family.
