MARY FRANCES QUAID (Age 85)  
On Wednesday, August 2, 2017, of Washington, DC at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD. Born in Washington, DC on May 16, 1932. Daughter of the late Esther M. (Dakin) and Daniel Leo Quaid, Sr. Survived by a sister, Anne Marie (Marvin) Mood; a niece, Evelyn (Alan) Reiman and a nephew Paul A. (Betty) Thomas. Predeceased by her brothers, Daniel Leo (Erika) Quaid, Jr., Donald Dakin Quaid and Philip A. (Eleanor) Thomas. Member of the St. Cecilia's Academy Class of 1950 and graduate of Strayer's Business College. Worked in accounting at Catholic University before beginning a career as a finance officer at the Central Intelligence Agency with assignments in Lebanon, Greece, Germany, and the U.S. before retiring in 1992. Mary was always in love with nature and enjoyed feeding the many birds who visited her front porch each day. Relatives and friends may call at Nativity Catholic Church, 6001 13th Street, NW, Washington, DC, Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nativity Catholic Church, which Mary had faithfully attended since 1932 (mailing address: 6000 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20011-5104).www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
