I´m revisiting this page after a long time because it´s taken a long time to be able to see it. I love you so much Granddaddy and I´ll miss you until the day we reunite. You left such a mark on my life and I can´t thank you enough for always loving me and going out your way to make sure I KNEW I was loved. Rest easy, I´ll bring some sunflower seeds when we meet again.

Danny, When I thought of you last week, as I periodically thought of you over the years, I wished you well. At the time, I did not know of your passing. I met you as a ninth grade student at Union High School. You were in the first class of students I ever had. What you did not know is that I was learning at the same time that you were learning. You made me want to be a better teacher, and I thank you for it. It was my privilege to have you in my class. May God forever rest your soul. Brenda Beaty Starnes

Words can not express how much I will miss you. The one thing that brings me comfort is every time I think about you I remember you making everyone laugh. You were always the life of the party, cook-out, picnic, or just a house visit. Thank you for all the funny memories your cousin Tammy
