Dear Ellen,
You were my client but also my dear friend. Even with your cancer treatments we found time to laugh, have our Starbucks coffee, and hit the consignment shops.
You were my tour guide for D. C . and my co-pilot, you said,"we were Thelma and Louise.
I'll think of you every time when I'm time in D.C.
You're at peace and no more pain.
I'll miss you but I have lots of memories.
Love, Gail M. Gill

peace and blessings to ellen's family. i met ellen via mark o at beautiful afternoon lunch. ellen i met a couple of other times at Teasim in Dupont where she shared 'womanist' conversations about career strategies and migration in an evolving society. ellen did more than talk, she followed through with tangibles. i had no idea she was ill. i lift her up and will be ever grateful for kindness.

I was honored to have known Ellen these past couple of years. She was courageous in her struggle with illness. I will miss her but am relieved for her that she is at peace.
