MITCHELL BLANKSTEIN  
On Monday, May 23, 2016, MITCHELL BLANKSTEIN of Potomac, MD. Beloved husband of the late Sally Paulson Blankstein and the late Lily Dash Blankstein. Devoted father of Allison (Nick Downarowicz) Nazarian, Erica (Barry) Kaplan, Joshua (Stephanie) and Dr. Jill Paulson. Dear brother of Gladys (the late Lester) Karr and Marlene (the late Dr. Harvey) Fenster. Loving grandfather of Daniel and Maya Nazarian, Lily and Evan Kaplan and Georgia Paulson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 10 a.m., at Beth Sholom Congregation and Talmud Torah, 11825 Seven Locks Rd., Potomac, MD. Interment following at King David Memorial Garden, Falls Church, VA. After the interment, the family will receive relatives and friends. The location will be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice Casey House. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by The Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington).

Mr, Blankstein was a very pleasant person that was respected by all that knew him. Always had a good word. He had me do many project for his family and home which was always a pleasure. He will be missed.

I learned so much from working for Mitchell for almost 14 years. While all he ever learned from me was that it was cool to have a dog. He was a highly respected man whose boundless kindness will never be matched by another. My thoughts and prayers for his family.
